So this will be my third time attending the West 18th Street Fashion Show, and as always I was highly excited to see what this years round of selected designers had in store for us. Despite the heat and humidity, fashion show patrons as well as myself were in complete awe at some of the looks presented in this years showcase which in no doubt lived up to the theme of "Wild Summer" But you don't have to take my word for it. Check out these seriously cool ensembles for yourself!
Anna Van Gheen with Accessories by Jennifer Wilkinson
Avery Dennison for Equal People with Margie Hogue and Justin Atwater-Taylor for Crown Carriage
Brockstar for I Am Brock Star with Accessories by Whitney Manney
Bethany Wicker for Chroma File Designs
Kate E. Burke with Christine Nelson for Annmann Designs
Virginia Zetmeir for V. Zettie Designs
Hilary Brown with Accessories by Opal & Gold
Seance Collective, Directed by Phil Keophaphone with Accesories by Sydney Pener
Now weren't these not some very wild and crazy ensembles or what? But that is the essence that is West 18th Street Fashion Show. Each theme brings on an exciting new concept among local designers that always promises its loyal patrons to keep expecting the unexpected. I can only imagine what next year will bring!
